decent z170 mobo that will not break the wallet

Hello guys, any suggestion on a decent Z170 board around 120-170 canadian dollars with nice audio and that will keep a 6600K at 4.4GHz without burning (lol)?

I have the GA-Z170-HD3P: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA5SC3DC1172&cm_re=hd3p-_-13-128-842-_-Product

I bought it back in August, a bit cheaper back then. It's your entry-level Z170 board, nothing fancy like the Gaming editions. I'm running it with a 6600K at 4.4GHz. There is a preset in the BIOS for the i5-6600K at 4.4GHZ, any more than that and you have to do it manually, assuming the board will allow it.

It has 2xPCI slots and a USB 3.1 port, that's what really distinguishes it from the rest.

There are some Asrock boards at NCIX for $129-ish but that's after rebate.

I was thinking about the same board too and people say the audio codec is ok. I don't know why but the Asrock ones in this price range (except the Extreme 4+) give off a cheap feeling and might burn if I oced it too much. Did you try hitting your 6600K with a 4.6GHz oc? I would love to hear from ya.

I'm running a MSI Z170A PC MATE with a 6600k at 4.5GHz / 1.35Volts. It will hold 4.6 with 1.47Volts but I'm happy with 4.5.

Solid board thus far considering the 114 Canadian Rupees I spent on it.

OH wow! That's such a steal but right it's costing about 160ish canadian dollars. Where did you buy your board?
