I have question about MSI afterurner overclocking. So I found out that AUX voltage overclock tab and I decided to tet it out. I set it to +20mV and changed clock from 1040 to 1150 and memory from 1500 to 1650.

My GPU is R9 390 nitro.

I tried to run Valley becnhmark, and after 20sec I got black screen and no video signal. So I force shut down my PC and turn it back on. Disabled that OC and everything was back to normal. That happened 2 days ago, but since then I got like 2-3 times horizontal green line on my screen for like 1sec.

Could that AUX voltage overclocking dammage something on my card? Or it could be random glitch in system?

Because I was playing GW2 for like 5+ hours in last 2 days and never had any problem. But randomly while browsing web, I got horizontal green line for 1 sec.

Temperatures never went over 75°C on GPU and never over 80-90°C on VRM.

Any ideas?

When an overclock doesn't work sometimes it tends to be the gpu driver which throws a sh!t fit and hence why the gpu goes off. If you havnt done already use DDU utility completely remove the drivers then reinstall them.

Just did that.

Now I just have to monitor if I ever get same problem :)
