Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Analog feed back issues are a tough nut most of the time. If it hasn't hurt it yet then it is unlikely to do so. I would guess thy're not pumping much power or amperage if you can hook then directly into a pc.

Thanks for all the help

I have a pair of logitech z200 speakers and I want to play them along with my X mini speaker. When I connect them to the jack with a music note, there is music on both speakers, but a buzz in the background of the x mini. I have tested the cord I am using and the x mini speaker and none of them produce a buzz. How do I fix this?

Are you using a splitter or something to hook the together?

I am a paid professional, but only when I am at work...and getting paid.

I am not using a splitter, somehow I can use one of the audio lines on the Logitech speaker and connect it to the other speaker and they'll both play simultaneously without a splitter or a mixer

I think it's because the x mini speaker has a "buddy jack" that lets it play with other speakers

Okay, some boards can do that, why I asked was hooking up two powered unites on the same line often causes this sort of problem. Still sounds to me like it's a feedback loop issue of some sort.

Do you have any idea on how I could fix the problem?

Maybe see if you computer can do a dual port output. i.e. two jacks with the same signal at the same time. Other wise I would suggest just use one set at a time or look into an upgrade possibly.

Well that's too bad. I'll probably just keep the buzz until I can afford some kind of mixer. Last question, would the buzzing cause any damage to my speakers?
