Debug LED Question?

Hi guys,

 

I have noticed that the LED debug thing on my motherboard reads the code 40 when the PC is on. I am use to MSI board where when the PC is on the LED displays the CPU temp but what should the code be on Asus motherboard? mine is the X99 Rampage V Extreme. Whilst i'm on this subject I also have another issue that if I make changes in the bios and then f10 save them the PC won't re-boot and will just hang on a single code however if I completely power the PC down it will boot fine with all the new bios settings applied. I have updated the bios to the latest version and re-seated all the parts with no luck to resolve that particular issue. Any help would be great if this was an MSI board I would probably know the answers but I haven't owned Asus boards since AM3 lol
