GPU using idle clock while gaming.

Yahfz

GTX 670 Power edition using idle clocks while gaming.

This gpu has a gaming clock of core/mem 1189/3000 but for some reason it is using the idle clocks 324/324mhz.

For some reason if i restart my computer the first game i open will use the gaming clock speed, any game after that will use idle clocks.

I have never overclocked this card, no driver crashes either. Something weird to point out is that when i alt tab to desktop and back to the game for some reason the clock get higher from 324/324 to 1024/3000mhz.

You can try to perform a clean driver reinstall or roll your GPU driver to an older version and try that again.

I would be tempted to uninstall your latest driver and go back to the previous versions. I know some Nvidia drivers recently have been a little buggy

look at your driver edition then go to the 1 before that. That would usually be the last stable driver

Well for me it´s the current 364.51 but you can roll back to older versions, for trying it.

I would be careful how far you go back as if your card was working properly with the previous driver then I would start looking more at the card
