BF4 Question

Matt_Twinkletoes

So I am wondering if turning on v-sync on BF4 makes the game more sluggish or lower input times. Because when I turn it on it feels a lot slower even though I only have a 60hz monitor.

Instead of using v-sync you can limit tearing and/or heating of your gpu by typing this command in the console gametime.maxvariablefps 60.

To make it permanent you need to create file called user.cfg with this command and save it in main Battlefield folder.

Yes, the game will have slightly more input lag with v-sync on. But running the game in windowed-borderless does basically the same thing v-sync does without creating the input lag, so there's no point.

I never run v-sync on any FPS except CoD since I only have 60Hz monitors.
