I need a NAS / Server or something

I have started a new small company and need somewhere to store all the data (videos, Files, Databases etc). I have never built a server or NAS before and don't know the best way to go with it. I will need to access the storage from 2 pc's 1 laptop, 1 tablet and a mobile phone. Will a Nas do what i need or would an old server do the trick? What would be best? No specific budget i just need to know my options.

If you are the one setting up the nas, and you are just starting out, I would recommend going with a prebuilt nas. They are easier to setup and manage than normal servers. My personal brand pick is synology. Their quality is of the best and their software is easy to use, yet VERY feature rich.
