ssd is causing computer not to boot

*my boot drive is a 1tb seagate hdd

*culprit: ocz trion 100 240gb ssd

So all of a sudden my computer stopped booting on Sunday. At first i thought my windows installation was corrupt. So i tried to do startup repair but it just looped. Then today I decided to unplug all my other hdds and my ssd. And the computer booted. So i went about trying every drive combo in the computer. Every other drive combo without the ssd allowed my computer to boot, the ones with the ssd didnt boot. I have had this same ssd in my computer for almost 6+ months now and now its not letting my computer boot. I have some game saves on this ssd that i dont want to lose.

Any helpful info is appreciated

Why is your SSD not your boot drive? Whatever, not important right now.

Can you plug in the SSD while the computer is running? (Yes, it is safe to do so)

You can copy the files from it onto your HDD.

Your computer will support hot plug (the ability to disconnect and reconnect hdd's and ssd's while the computer is on) turn the computer on then connect the SSD and copy your games off. Next to wipe your ssd. open up disk management and format the ssd. once this is done, try rebooting your pc to boot with the ssd connected, if it boots copy the data back onto the ssd. reboot again.
