Alright so it's using a lot of memory, which most likely resolves the issues with why my PC will just shutoff at random all the time, I have no idea why there all so many background processes going on at once, or how to fix that.

Nah, nothing wierd I'd say. Three gigs of ram really isn't that much these days. I believe windows 10 itself uses ~2.3GB on a fresh install. I too use 3.5GBs now with only Firefox and Spotify on.

And a full memory wont shut your system off. Lest you really try. :)

If you really suspect its the RAM then do a memtest, or try them out one at a time.

It looks perfectly normal to me. Your memory usage is about average imo. In general, the more memory in your system, the more memory windows will use.

Running out of memory won't necessarily make your machine instantly power down either, it will likely bsod first.( If windows is actually doing a proper shutdown look at the power button on your computer)

I'd suggest looking towards hardware as the problem. PSU is usually the first suspect for these kinds of issues so, if possible I'd suggest trying to borrow one (that is known to be good) and see if the problem occurs while using that. Other things to look at are your memory, cpu / gpu temps and cables/wires and their connections.

If your computer is abnormally slow it may be temp related as the cpu could be throttling.

I don't think it'd my PSU, because I just replaced it (for the 4th time in like 2 years, I have really bad luck with PSU's), I reseated my GPU and memory, it still didn't fix it, but the way I turn on my PC is I just bridge the pins on the motherboard, since I built my own case into my desk and I have yet to finish it, I have all the cables sorted for a custom button, I just need to go to Coles and pick up a switch sometime, but I don't think that would be the issue, do you? I usually bridge the pins with a drill bit, just cause I have it around, and it works just fine for turning it on, but then it will just shut off out of no where, and this happens like 20 times a day. It's insane I know, and I tried pretty much everything, checking all the cables and what not, I'm just dumbfounded by it.

EDIT: and my temps are good and stable, and it's not like I'm pushing my PC to it's limits or anything, I don't really game much anymore, but even if I did I got a 780ti and a 4770K so it's more than capable of running heafty games without an issue (and there both at stock clock speed)

I doubt its the way you start it, unless you leave the bit sitting on the pins!

Grasping at straws here's hardly something shorting something on the motherboard like part of the mounting / motherboard tray? Generally it would result in a dead board but stranger things have happened.
