I tried booting up my old computer but there is suddenly no display. The system turns on, fans spinning, leds lighting etc. But there is no display on the screen. It doesn't even post. It seems like it's not connected to the monitor so i tried using the monitor to another system and it works. I used the same vga cable. I'm thinking it might be a problem with the RAM. What do you guys think?

I did, yes. I have no GPU installed. As for the CPU, hmmmm i do not know how to prove if it's dead or not

you can test it in another motherboard but i doubt most people would have one spare motherboard lol

If the computer beeps it might be a dead ram stick (I see it all the time). However try trouble shooting your computer by booting it up with the bare minimum, just keyboard and mouse and one stick of ram. If that doesn't work switch the ram stick to different slots. If the problem persists switch the VGA cable and if all your efforts are to no avail. Might be a dead CPU :(

I replace your reality and substitute my own.
