Aspire?

Has anyone had any problems with the Acer Aspire R3 131t's battery or power. My device wont turn on, and the charge indicator wont turn on when plugged in.

It is an acer. It is a consumer grade laptop. (2 Bad things)

I have had acers start to fail within 6 months.

 

Remove the battery and plug it in and try to turn it on.

- If that works, try seeing if there is something wrong with your battery's pads and possibly clean it.

    - If that works, Cool.

    - If not, go back to the store and get a new one.

- If that fails, look in the Laptop's charging socket to see if there is any dust, then clean it out

   - If it works after that, cool.

   - If it fails, test the laptop with a different laptop charger.

      - If that works, go to the store and say your charger is dead.

      - If it doesn't work, go back to the store and say your laptop is dead.
