new PC no windows

first off I just finished putting together an AMD build. After that I bought windows 10 professional key from kinguin.com (by the way it does not say 64 or 32 bit). Then I downloaded the media creation tool on to my other computer that is running windows 10 home 64 bit. I ran the creation tool and it asked for language bit and the edition. I press next and select USB flash drive. After that it says "We can't find a USB flash drive." I press "refresh drive list" and nothing happens WTF.

I then try the same thing on a windows 7 laptop and I receive the same results.

Plese help or tell me where I can find some

is the USB drive completely empty?

Does it show up in disk manager?

Is it formatted correctly?

What kind of USB flash drive are you using? There are some problems with USB flash drive being recognised as HDD. Also do you use USB flash drive that has at least 4 GB of space? You can also try making it bootable with Rufus, and then try again.

Yes it is empty; it does get recognized by the pc and it is formatted to FAT32

try using rufus to make it bootable, as @dejanmarolt suggested

at the refus website should I leave all the info at default? Also it has 8gb and on the flash drive it's self it says: Staples Relay

when you download rufus you are supposed to attach a download of windows 10 right? well I can not do that due to the media creation tool not allowing me. How do I use rufus in my predicament?
