Add an SSD

CPU - 4670K @ 4.2 GHz | Motherboard - ASUS Z97-PRO | CPU Cooler - Corsair H105 

RAM - Corsair Vengeance (4x4GB) | GPU - EVGA GTX 1060 SSC  

Storage - Samsung M.2 64GB SSD, PNY 240GB SSD , WD 1TB Caviar Blue, WD 500GB HDD

Fair. I would still recommend getting a better variant of the R9 380. That's not a card that you want to have a s*** cooler on.

Go to kinguin.net and get a windows 10 pro key for $20. It's guaranteed if you get the extra protection guarantee for like $2.

The price has gone up since I last saw it, but it's mountains cheaper than a retail store copy, and its much safer than r/microsoftsoftwareswap

1. that protection isnt reliable 2. why buy an ssd for 60 bucks when i could upgrade my graphics card?

Ok, Ok, you want to get the Windows key legit. That's fine. However, suggestions regarding the SSD and better cooled GPU should be considered.

Because an SSD makes your whole system about 2-3x faster in day-to-day tasks, whereas a better GPU will make just your games and photoshop, vegas etc run about 10% better.

you're not getting much more GPU for your money for 60 dollars more.

The 380X and 380 4GB are almost exactly the same when the 380 is overclocked.

You're looking at a 7fps difference for your money.

When a Strix 380 is $229, and a 380x is $239, that's a big FPS jump.

I was thinking of the price difference between the powercolor card he has now and a 380x
