iPhone 6 repair

So my sister dropped her iPhone 6 in the toilet and it still works but the touch tracking is messed up and the volume button is stuck down turning the volume up all the time. I am wondering if I can take it apart and let it dry out and see if it fixes anything?

Yep. 
You'll need a pentalobe screwdriver, and a suction cup. 

Undo the bottom two screws, and gently lift the LCD up with the suction cup, placed just above the home button. 
Pull gently. 

Once open, disconnect the battery (Under a plate) and let it dry out for a few days. 
Once dry, grab a tooth brush and 99% Isopropyl and give it a good scrubbing. 

There is a good chance the LCD is damaged beyond repair, but give it a shot anyways. 
Make sure you clean the entire phone; Logic board and connectors included. 
Let it dry out fully again once cleaned and try to power it on.
