Dell U3415W Flicking? While gaming

Ryzone

So I got my U3415W yesterday from amazon and man ultrawide is amazing. So I only notice the screen flicker and it actually seems like backlight flicker, not screen flickering if that makes sense. I only notice it in world of warcraft and it seems to only happen when SLI is enabled.

Also Am I able to use mini display port on a 980 ti ? Because when I tried to use that to test a different cable it wouldn't pick up a signal. Only display port to display port works.

I bought this cable along with it as well and is the one I'm currently using. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005H3Q59U?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

SLI Flickering is pretty common. :P Not really sure what you can do about it.

First off, i own it aswell and i don't noticed any filckering.

Second, it's probably your systems fault when it's only happening with SLI enabled. Try cleaning your drivers with DDU and make a clean install.

Third, Actually the mini cable should work, i'm using the cable that came with it and it works fine, however people have reported that the cable sucks. But when you are using a different one anyways that shouldn't be the problem.

Ok I'll reinstall nvidia drivers and see if that helps. Also I might roll back to the older driver and see if that also works.

But don't just reinstall, make sure you clean it off with DDU :)

I haven't heard anything about SLI flickering until now but good to know. @ChronicGenocide
