first PC build

Hi, 

I plan on building my first gaming PC. Can somebody please validate my build, Im not sure if I'm spending too much on things like the motherboard.

The MSI gaming M5 or M7 would be an option too, but I like the fan and lighting control features of the Asus motherboard.

The psu's wattage is quite high if I decide to throw a second 980 ti into the rig.

 

What do you think about it?

Where can I save some bucks? How does the Asus Strix compare to the Gigabyte graphics card?

The motherboard is a bit on the overkill side, maybe go for a cheaper one but whatever suites your needs  and the power supply is a bit overkill for that system as well. but if you plan on using two 980 Ti's in the future then yea that power supply is fine.

EDIT: Maybe go for 16 GB ram 8GB is quite shit for a 2000 dollar system
