I am trying to hook my laptop up to an external video card through pcie adapter. The card is an amd 6950. Pic included.

I keep getting video_dxgkernl_fatal_error (I have windows 10) after some quick research I was brought to a windows page where, fix it, would disable  rtpm om intel driver. After doing so device manager said all it needed to do was restart the laptop and it would be all good. But I am still getting the error.

By disconnecting the adapter on boot I can use the laptop, what do?
