Newbie, perhaps I need someone help!

The Asus laptop screen went rainbow when I played a game. Blue screen happened after I tried to restart the PC. At the same time Windows error popped out 0X0000016

And now I can't enter the system because I can't see anything from the screen, it's black. I have erased the memory card but in valid.

Is the PC infected? I remembered that unknown trezaa ads and browser redirect occur irregulaly these days. But the page says that these problems are only caused by adware that will not do harm the system (see info).

How can I repair my Asus laptop though iit is over 3 years old and I have lots of important files.

Sounds like the GPU pooped out on the mainboard. Might need a new mainboard, or if it just bluescreens upon powering up, you might need to reinstall windows.

I guess the graphics card caused the problem. The bluescreens has never seen again because the screen shows nothing. I would rather buy a new one if the mainboard is broken.
