Hi guys^^

I am currently planning on upgrading the pc I bought about two years ago.
This is my rig at the moment:

-Gigabyte B85-D3H

-Gainward GTX 760

-8GB Corsair DDR3

-Samsung 840 EVO (120GB) + 1TB (Toshiba)

-i5 4570 (+boxed cooler)

-LC 6600GP2 (600 W)

So, i guess the cpu doesn't need to be changed that soon, but I guess the gpu (and the psu) need to be replaced pretty soon. I've had a LC Power psu before, but it just died after one year (yes, I somehow ended up having a psu by the same brand, please don't ask...^^) I'd guess that I don't even need a 600 W psu?

Beneath that, I am actually into the Gainward GTX 970 Phoenix, as it appears to be "cheap" and powerful: http://www.gainward.com/main/vgapro.php?id=970&lang=en

If there are any cards that would fit better, feel free to mention them. My budget for the new gpu is about 320€.
Can I stick to the Gigabyte board I have or do I need to upgrade this as well or is there anything I have to know? :P

These 8GB RAM of the R9 390 are really appealing, but it looks like the card needs a lot more power than the 970. Sadly, the R9 390 is also more expensive than the nvidia card... (even though it''s not that much) :S

Would it be ok if I use a psu with 500 W with the 970 / R9 390? (Won't be overclocking anything)
