Choosing external HDD

Andrew48

So I need to buy an external hdd for my media files and do some backups. My system has only one 128 ssd and  I have an old pc with aproximately 3TB of space connected over the internet to my main pc. I was going to buy another hdd for the old pc but I want one for myself as the old pc is used by my family as well. I dont want to put a hdd in my rig so I decided to go externaly(and for some reason external HDD are cheaper than Internal ones). Here are my options:

1. Toshiba Stor.E Canvio Desktop 3TB
2. Seagate Expansion Desktop 3TB
3. WD Elements Desktop 3TB (USB 2.0)
4. Samsung D3 Starion 3TB
5. Seagate Backup Plus 3TB

I want the most reliable one with good performance. I looked up reviews on amazon and newegg but I still can't decide.
The last one is a bit more expensive than the other ones but if it is better then its OK :P
