Network cards?

Flowey

So what are they? What are they used for? Can it run Crysis? Will it blend?

Really I just want to know if it's useful for a regular Citizen like myself to get a network card or whatever they're called.

Don't need one unless the one on your mobo is dead.

So I'm guessing it's where all the drivers for network purposes are stored? If I plan on getting myself a trusty NAS running in the future, should I get one?

Drivers? No.  It's a card with an ethernet port on it, that's all.
