fx4170 overclocking help...

First i would like to say hello all and thanks for ant help that i might receive. i am trying to overclock my fx4170 cpu and i cant seem to keep a stable overclock past what the oc genie does(4514.27MHz). im using a 990fxa-gd80 v2 motherboard and was wondering if there was something i might be missing. something i should have enabled/disabled.

evga gtx 760 4gb

alpha cool open loop cpu cooler with 240mm rad

8gb g.skill sniper ddr3-2400

g.skill phoenix FTW 240gb ssd(win 8)

1tb wd hdd

you have to add voltage for higher core frequencies

Temps should not exceed 62c on the cores under 100% usage. With that CPU cooler I'd imagine you can hit 1.5v easily, would not go past that. 

 

Monitor temps though.
