Laptop recommendations

Hey peeps,

 

Looking to get a new laptop fitting these requires:

 

• Price 1500 USD max
• Non bulky
• Able to play newer games games at at least 20 fps. (low - mid settings)
• 8gig of ram (shush i like my chrome tabs)

I'm not really sure about specs in the laptop world which is why I'm here. I'm mostly flexible on everything apart from minimum fps.

Both look pretty good, but I think I prefer the GE60. Less bulky.

 

It's possible for me to put the SSD in myself isn't it?

I probably should have said that I lived in Australia. The Macbook options that I have for $1500 here are subpar at best. 

 

Had a look at the options for a GE60 in Australia but they are all around 1500 just for the 750M version. 

 

But apparently I can get it on amazon shipped here for just under 1500, so all may not be lost.
