Best Voice Chat

What are the advantages, and disadvantages of each voice chat platform? Teamspeak, mumble, ventrillo, raidcall, discord, Skype, etc.

I currently use Skype, because I generally want to be in a call with my IRL friends regardless of what game I'm playing.

I use a chat called "Curse Voice" that i highly prefer over skype.

Used to use Razer Comms but all my friends have recently migrated across to Discord.

I only have experience with Teamspeak, Ventrillo and Skype but here goes:

 

Teamspeak: Best audio quality, easy to set up and administer.

 

Ventrillo: Horrible audio quality (mobile phone style), antiquated and a pita to use.

 

Skype: Decent enough audio, with the advantage of video calling, but you cant drop in and out of chat as easily as you can with vent and ts.

 

If you want purely the best voice chat but no video I'd use Teamspeak hands down.

Unless you are the one setting up the server it doesn't matter. You'll be using whatever your team is using.
