Budget Server Build

I have the need to host a few websites and game servers (Nothing to major, and not all at the same time), and I decided on making my own server, as I have true gigabit speeds over Ethernet. I need to make a server that could do this for a budget of around 200$. I am open to pre-owned parts. If you could show me some parts and were to get them, that would be great! Thanks for the help!

You are not going to get what you want for under $600 so time to up the budget or change what you want.

CPUs: Dual Xeon x5460

Motherboard: Supermicro X7DCL-3

RAM: Some ECC DDR2 crap

 

There's the basics. That's about $125. But you'll also need a psu (with two cpu 8 pin connectors), an HDD and a case... you're going to be pushing your $200 budget

I would just buy a 10th generation Dell PowerEdge server. 1950 Gen III's support up to 64GB of RAM and an X5470, so you can upgrade it with used parts over time.
