Desktop icons blank

Go to solution Solved by Sors,

There is a file that acts as a cache for the icons, and sometimes it gets corrupted, you can try deleting it and windows will rebuild it.

The fie is call:

IconCache.db

My desktop icons suddenly turned blank, like a text document, not the actual icon. any fix for this?

You could add a custom icon to the executable, I added a custom icon to Fusion 360 because the old one glitched out like that. Find the executable or desktop app, open the file location, open the properties, and click change icon.
