Upgrading this PC?

I want to upgrade my ASUS M51BC PC. I want a new GPU and i was thinking about the GTX 960 4GB. All i know is that i need a new PSU. The one i have is 350W or something and i found one that i want (EVGA 600W PSU) I have heard that it's decent and if it works and doesn't explode in my face then i don't really care about anything else. The problem is that i don't know if the GPU will fit in the M51BC PC case. If not then is the mini version much worse? I'm a n00b when it comes to GPU specs. All i know is that the GTX 960 4GB is the one i want.

Get the Superclocked version of the 960 if you must, but I would recommend just building one brand new.

So the PC is pretty normal size , so i think it will fit , but to prove it will fit you should open it up and see if there is much clearence for the gtx 960.

Yeah, i think i'm gonna get the SC version but saving up for a brand new PC would take a while and for me having 60+ fps and everything on ultra is not what i am aiming for. All i need is around 50-60 fps most of the time and decent graphics. Thanks for the help anyway

Does it have a good motherboard? Or is it a cheap OEM thing?

Is the CSM 550W enough for the 960 and FX-8300? Some guy told me that 600w is what i needed but it sounded like it was a tiny bit overkill.

600W is totally overkill

550W are enough in my opinion

I'm not sure. But the GPU i have is an Asus HD 7770 so the GPU must have a PCIE slot right? I haven't changed anything in the PC before, so i'm not sure about the mobo. I can just open it up tomorrow anyway

Yeah. It seems like 500-550W is enough for me.
