I currently have an Acer HL236bid (1080p 60 Hz IPS) and want a second monitor with a high refresh rate, possibly with FreeSync.

1. Do FreeSync monitors have more input latency than non-FreeSync monitors? (I'm referring to the time between mouse movement and cursor movement, not GTG response time.)

2. I hear that newer TN panels have pretty good colours. Is it worth the extra money for IPS?

3. Are IPS FreeSync monitors still responsive compared to TN FreeSync? (They claim 4ms vs 1ms GTG response times, if that matters?)

The monitors I currently have in mind are:

-Asus MG278Q (1440p 144 Hz TN FreeSync)

-BenQ XL2730Z (1440p 144 Hz TN FreeSync)

-Asus MG279Q (1440p 144 Hz IPS FreeSync)

-Acer XF270HU (1440p 144 Hz IPS FreeSync)

Kinda concerned that the FreeSync range is only 35-90 Hz on the MG279Q. And the XF270HU seems to be fairly new and difficult to find in Canada.
