Which ram slots

Go to solution Solved by zMeul,

2 sticks:

  • a1 + b1
  • or a2 + b2

4 sticks ... duh!

it's right in the manual page 15: ftp://europe.asrock.com/Manual/Fatal1ty%20Z97%20Killer.pdf

I'm currently waiting for the rest of my pc parts to arrive and I'm reading the manual for the motherboard, i think that when it comes to ram you have have to put them in a certain slot. (correct me if I'm wrong) I am using the asrock z97 killer board and they are labeled a1,a2 and b1,b2 I know it's probably a stupid question but I'm guessing that I got with a1 and a2. If not could somebody please tell me

I think it's a1 and b1.

I can't view the manual while I'm at work, but all dual stick configs I've used recently start with the first DIMM slot, skips one and then uses the third.
