Yeah well Typically for inside the PC you want Molex or Sata.
I got some Ok ones from Maplin for £12, or for more modern ones there are the wide Beam ones from cable mod. 

For the desk i'd go for something like this, Just bought them and they're great.

Ahh was it literally a Red a Green and a Blue Diode aha.
Most you can they have a cut line on them. 
And just throw them or keep them; could maybe come in handy at a later date.

I am not 100% sure in regards to the USB ones. 
Would be maybe worth measuring us as they have multiple sizes and if more are needed just order as and when?
