I have seen some videos on how to do it then i saw one from Nvidia where he said that i would be a good idea to draw on a paper where the cables go. But my question is isen't the only thing that i need to worry about is where the male and female is going? But now when i am gonna use my Evga cable i can all ready se where they need to go so isen't that fine?Udklip.PNG.a3d83ad5eafa50f301d5fe0385fe0

I would like to take the cable from my Evga 850 supernova and cut the mesh or what you will call it and take new mesh over each cable.

Possible, but probably harder than just starting with whole new cables, I am no expert on that matter though. And it's called sleeving. :)

Ohh thanks.

Sure no problem. :) To elaborate little more, it's harder because on the PSU side of 24-pin cable they usually share and put more wires into one. The EVGA G2 850 have 24pin on one side and 18pin on the PSU side, probably because the grounds are shared or something like that.

There are two way of sleeving one to make brand new cables or reuse the original conductors, for re-suing them you can do it the easy way and sleeve one wire at a times and replace it before moving forward to he next one, labeling when doing this is also a good idea since things can potentially get mixed up.

For things like the 24 pin as said can have more than one conductor per pin so doing the double wire method from lutro0 is a good idea. I have a general sleeving guide here under Sleeving of the new Modding FAQ if you need more details:
