TF2 config help

ill start off by saying im not an idiot when it comes to this, but im having problems

 

when i got my new mouse, i bound a few new commands to the extra buttons. one im having problems with. current its "bind mouse4 "say I Need A Medic" i forgot that needs to be say_team. so i went into my config file and changed it. and everytime i go back into tf2, it reverts back to the previous change. yes i saved the text file when i got done. it doesnt work when i change it ingame either. it always reverts back.

 

i copied the file, deleted the original and replaced it with the copied file. when i went into tf2 this time. one of my other binds, a bind that has nothing to do with the one i was trying to fix became broken....

 

ive never had problems with this before, ive done changes in the config file just fine. this one just isnt working. its starting to piss me off. and its been happening for a couple months now, as i got my mouse in dec.

EDIT:  Oh, you fixed it.  What did you do to fix it, out of curiosity?
