I used to use CPU/GPUBoss, but not every component has a full "profile" on there, so then I switched over to Userbenchmark.

Userbenchmark puts the 5960X 3% better than the 4790K, which I'm pretty sure isn't true.

 

Are these sites a waste of time or are there legitimately good ones?

Not really. Jokes are supposed to be funny. CPU/GPU Boss contains completely false and/or misrepresentation of facts which can influence people's buying decisions and perspectives. Not very funny.

 

However, when people make decisions based on that site, now that's actually quite funny...
