Google Chrome internet speed issue

Go to solution Solved by Hunched,

Wait, now I just opened it again without running it as admin and its fine now, that doesn't even make any fucking sense.

I guess running it as admin once somehow fixed it even when not running as admin, k. I'll take it.

Recently I've been unable to watch any Twitch streams on source, and I noticed in task manager Chrome was barely using the potential of my internet speed.

Running Chrome as admin fixed this, is there something else I can do so I don't have to run it as admin every fucking time?

Thanks

Did you try turning it off and on again? Did you try reinstalling it? Did you try googling the problem?

Turning Chrome on and off?... I've restarted Chrome yea. No I haven't reinstalled it. No I didn't Google the problem yet.

Windows 10 and latest version of Chrome.

Works fine if ran as admin, but that's annoying to do every time and shouldn't be necessary.

Reinstalling it will most likely fix it, if running it as admin fixes it; if it doesn't, there's probably something else interfering with Chrome (firewall or otherwise).
