I think moving from an i7 to an i5 is kind of silly. At that point your performance will be near identical if not worse in some areas.

You're moving one GPU to your other P.C right because I was just gonna say, it's not ideal to have two different GPU's in your system. It won't impact performance but it's not visually pleasing.
