Hi all,

I've got an odd issue. I recently bought a new GPU (980Ti) and was using Windows 7 with no issue at all. I decided to try Windows 10 (again) to see if I could get used to it after it's matured for a while - not happening so far.

The issue in question is that the window preview when hovering over a taskbar icon is showing up in an odd place: the middle of the screen. Not the normal just-above-the-icon-you're-hovering-over.

It also seems to affect right-click menus - it should appear below and to the right of the cursor starting from exactly where you click. But it seems to be appearing significantly above and to the left. Hovering over sub-menus is a similar problem.

Look at the following images to see examples of the issues...

Spoiler

Cursor is hovering over the Firefox icon on the taskbar. The window preview thing should be just above the taskbar, not in the middle of the screen.

Spoiler

Initially right-clicked just to the left of "Paste shortcut". In picture, cursor is hovering over "New". Why on earth is the menu at the far top-left of the screen!?

This isn't an issue I ever had with my three 7970s in Crossfire on Windows 7 or even Windows 10 when I tried it before (technical preview and just after release).
This isn't an issue I had in Windows 7 with the 980Ti or, surprisingly, even with Windows 10 for the first couple of days. Funny thing is, it still doesn't always do it - just almost always.

Possible causes (or things that could interfere and cause an issue with Windows 10) are that I'm using three 1080P screens in Nvidia Surround (portrait) as well as an auxiliary screen on the left.

Anyone have any ideas as to what exactly is the issue and how to fix it?
