Router Setup?

I was thinking of upgrading my router because it was getting a little old. I need help setting it up. I think my router and my modem is a hybrid. Model#: WRT54GS2

not sure tho. Also, any recommendation for a new router? I have many devices connected to it and want to play games online like Call of duty for example. If i need a modem, any recommendation for that to? thanks

I don't believe you will need a new modem.
