It is a BIOS limitation that cannot be bypassed by my believes :( But you can install two extra 2 TB to the internal and external SATA connectors. Those are indeed IDE, but the performance does not differ that much on HDDs compared to SSDs. However, you can run custom BIOS to enable AHCI and even hot-swap.
