i would not get the gigabyte those small fans will most likely make a lot of noise to keep that beast cool.

personaly also the 7970 XFX is imo one of the best brands in gfx and else i would take the asus DC2 those two would both be awsome

if u plan to go multimonitor i would take the XFX since it has more vRamm

I wouldn't recommend the XFX card because their coolers are quite loud and they aren't that good imo. I would personally add a bit more of moneyget this or this. If you are really on a budget, I would get the Asus or the Galaxy one.

If the prices are the same here as where you are, I'd go for a 770. The prices are comparable to the 680.

For US customers, here's the Galaxy 680 GC vs the 770 GC.

The 770 actually beats out the 680 in this example.

But keep in mind that you can hop different brands or deals and sometimes get the 680 for way below that price. This is just all I could think of for a straight up brand for brand, card for card comparison.

Also I would stay away from the XFX 7970, only because of personal experience. When I ordered my 7970 Black Edition from XFX I experienced all sorts of problems. Driver instability until a later update, loud fan speed, high card temperatures, a non reference card for many potential aftermarket cooler upgrades (Though the Arctic Xtreme fit perfectly on it), my revision of the board is voltage locked and to top it all off my first one had to be RMA'd. I was experiencing artifacts at desktop as well as in all 3DMark benchmarks. The RMA process was pretty easy, but it took almost 3 weeks to get my new card after I had shipped out my old one (Keep in mind that at first they could not duplicate the issue).

So if you went with another brand for the 7970 GHz, I would be all on board with that decision. It's an amazing card and it performs insanely well. Best bang for buck hands down.

I'm just staying the heck away from XFX from now on. Go Sapphire or Gigabyte for the ATi.

I would personally would go with the MSI card because it is lighter and it doesn't take up that much space and it will provide less stress to your pci-e slot imo. Both are these have great coolers so I would go with the one that you like. http://www.overclock.net/t/1286218/twin-frozr-4-vs-directcu-ii

XFX looks sexy, but it's AMD, so no! I would get KFA2 GeForce GTX680 2GB OC (68NPH6DT7XNZ) + Batman Arkham Origins from that list.

Just get the cheapest one--not much of a difference to the point where you'd want to pay more for one over another.

No they are both great imo. I have the Twin Frozr 3 (not the Twin Frozr 4 on the 770 but it is very alike) cooler on my gpu and it is quiet and good cooler.  :) I would go with the MSI one since it is cheaper.

Not worth the extra money over any of the cheaper models. Get this instead and oc it yourself: http://www.netonnet.se/art/dator/komponenter/grafikkort/amd-pci-e/xfx-hdradeon79703gb/180194.7064/

I would suggest the 680 with the direct CU II cooler, aka this one : http://www.webhallen.com/se-sv/hardvara/153034-asus_geforce_gtx_680_2gb_directcu_ii_oc__blacklist/ . This card will run really quiet and cool compared to all the other 680's and it seems that its cheaper. Note.  Stay away from Gigabyte windforce 5x because the small fans make it sound like a helicopter taking off.

If you can wait like one more month then yea most definantly and even if there note great they will make current series drop in price same hopefully for the 700 series
