I am looking for a camera capable of shooting 1080p video. I would prefer it to be able to shoot in H.264 but that is not a necessary requirement. I do not have any external mics, so it would also need a decent built in mic. I would like to spend around $150 but if absolutely necessary would be willing to go up to $200. Any suggestions?

Canon Vixia Mini X? rip price

Or have a look at Costco's Sony Handycams and Canon VIXIA camcorders.

If you don't have a Costco membership try a Sony CX240

Can you post the prices for those Costco cameras? I am not a member but I know a member who could buy it for me. Would be nice if they would show the prices even if you aren't a member.

I forgot my login, RIP. The slightly more expensive Sony CX440 at Costco should be around $250, likely less and the Vixia around $200 (maybe even $100 with the $100 rebate.)

Ok thanks. I'll ask the member I know and see if they can check the exact price for me
