Every time I log into windows 10, I get a black screen with my curser in the middle

I have tried booting into safe mode, no luck

I can press control alt delete and open task manager, but it is the only window I can see

I had this problem the other day, but was able to fix it by restoring to a system image, I don't want to have to do this again,

please help

My father had a similar issue the other day, he just restarted and it booted up fine.

Are you overclocking? what is your drive config?

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Have restarted several times, running 2 ssd's in raid 0, and I have my computer image on a wd blue 1 tb

My dad was also booting off of RAID 0 SSDs, though I do not see why this would cause an issue.

yes, still a black screen

The way I see it there are 2 options:

1. restore system image

2. jump BIOS (will reset RAID settings, not entirely sure if Windows will work after RAID is reestablished.)

I believe the issue is caused by RAID, But I could be mistaken.
