Hey so I installed minecraft on a freshly reset hard drive, installed minecraft, but after a few minutes the fps goes drastically down and it starts lagging and chopping... It shouldn't be the bardware (i7 4770, gtx 970, 24 gb ram)... How can i solve the problem???

thank you bye!!!!

You could try to remove the .minecraft folder in your Appdata Roaming folder. If you remove that and run the launcher again it downloads the game setting etc again and it might solve the problem. Make sure to backup your saves if you are going to do this though. To get to the Appdata folder search %appdata% in the windows search bar and then select Roaming and the .minecraft folder should be there. Note that the Minecraft Launcher and game should be closed while doing this.

I hope it helps!
