The E5-2698v3 outperforms the 2699 and if I'm not mistaken Broadwell-E should be here very soon.  Just some things to think about.

- ASUS X99 Deluxe - i7 5820k - Nvidia GTX 1080ti SLi - 4x4GB EVGA SSC 2800mhz DDR4 - Samsung SM951 500 - 2x Samsung 850 EVO 512 -

- EK Supremacy EVO CPU Block - EK FC 1080 GPU Blocks - EK XRES 100 DDC - EK Coolstream XE 360 - EK Coolstream XE 240 -

How much cheaper is the 980ti where you are? Cause if you can get more of those for the same price as the 2 titan x´s, would be worth.

980ti's are cheaper by around £200, but would i run into driver issues on more than dual SLI?

Are there any timescales on Broadwell-E ?

Q2 2016 if you're asking about the release date.  Not sure what you mean otherwise.
