WINSCP error code 4

im trying to transfer files to my Rpi via winscp and im getting this:

 

"General failure (server should provide error description).
Error code: 4
Error message from server: Failure"

 

i have enough storage on the sd card and the connection isnt being interrupted or anything like that though it only does it after about 1Gb worth of files after that its the error code
