Part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BsLjf7

Long story short, me and a buddy built his first PC and used a USB to install an activated copy of Windows 7 on his SSD. After we installed it we tried booting into Windows and get a BSOD that says his BIOS isn't ACPI compliant. We were thinking that we need to install the CD that came with the motherboard that says "drivers & utilities" on it but booting into that CD just boots into Windows and gives us the BSOD mentioned previously.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? Turn off your computer unplug it. Hit the power button a few times to clear any residual power. Open your case and remove the battery on your motherboard for a few minutes. Replace the battery, plug the computer in and power on the computer. That is the only thing I can think of trying. If that doesn't work, post this in the troubleshooting forum and see if they can help.

It's always a good day if you woke up breathing.
