Crazy ping, fast browsing.

Ok so I get like 15 down and 2 up in speedtest and in ping test my ping is at like 34 but as soon as I join any game on steam my ping is in the 400-900 range. All of this just started to happed and Im not experienced in this field so if you need more info to diagnose a problem just ask.

Oh i forgot to mention, I can browse, watch videos and play other games like rainbow six seige through uplay with like a 90 ping.

the server that you are playing on may not be as close to you or as fast as youtube and other games' servers

an example is that I have 100 down 10 up on speedtest, I join a North America CS:GO server and get 30-40 ping, then i go and join a asia server and get 100-200

No its every game on steam, I tried insurgency, csgo, tf2, gta, cod bo3

are you sure that you are on the right servers?

Yeah, ceck if you are using the Steam servers from your region

 

you can find this setting in the Steam options -> Downloads -> region
