System:

CPU: Intel i5 2500 (non K)

Motherboard: P8H67-M EVO

PSU: Seasonic M12II 520w

1TB WD HDD

So I got my Asus HD 7870 DCUII today. I un-installed the old GPU drivers and installed the new ones. The problem is that Catalyst Control Center will not install properly. After the install the wizard said problems have occured, to view the errors read the log. But the thing the logs shows no errors. The card is receiving power since the PCB LED are on and the fans are spinning. Right now I am hooked up to the integrated graphics. I also have another monitor hooked up to the GPU. The HD 7870 required 500 watts of power, but the box says I need 550 watts. I will try reseating the card and power connectors.

I tried this multiple times. But each time I install it doesn't prompt me to restart.

Use this http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/catalyst-uninstall-utility.aspx

Then instal

Edit: And CCcleaner your deleted files

Unfortunately this didn't work. When it installed it said you have installed with a warning. But again there is no errors in the log

AMD's auto detect will not ever work. It says "Cannot Detect device or OS".

EDIT: Now the fans will not even spin up, but the PCB LEDs stay on
