Hi everyone, so I wanted to build a budget rig for media and light gaming and have an old AMD Athlon II X2 260 3.2 GHz 2x1 MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor laying around. To be honest I have built many computers in the past but have never worked with the AMD side of things before. I was looking at this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157581&cm_re=am3-_-13-157-581-_-Product However, I am not exactly sure on the compatibility of these two components, but pardon my ignorance. Also, if these two do happen to work, is there anything I should look out for when completing this AMD build? Thanks.
