Hello! I love cheap stuff. I think just about everyone likes cheap stuff. I wanted to dedicate a topic to cool tech items under $5 USD (~$7 CAD). I'll start off with a few of my favorites:

  • $1 China Mic - Took a while to get here, especially over the Chinese holiday, and does not have too great of receiving quality. But amp up the sensitivity and you're golden. Also its just a dollar.
  • Raspberry Pi Zero - Still haven't been able to get one of these, but I know I will eventually. I've been using Where's My PiZero? to keep an eye on stock. And yes, technically it will cost more as most people need all of the little extensions and gadgets and ports that go with, but if you're like me you already have most of the parts at hand.
  • $5 5,200 Mah Battery Pack - Not sure if they have them where you are at, but I picked up one of these things at the local Walmart in the discount isle. It has a built in bright LED, LED charge indicators, one 1-Amp USB out and a micro usb in.

(Please do not link to outside articles unless necessary as that is harder to browse than a list like my own ;))

So, what can you guys come up with?

-Jbax

Yeah, I can imagine that would be a good deal for some people. I like my cell plans to work around my own schedule, being able to add time whenever I feel like it. Of course I don't use my phone much outside of wifi hotspots. In fact I rarely use the phone functionality at all.
