I recently moved around my set up with a new desk and my pc now sits about 1 foot from my right ear and I can't stand the sound of it anymore now I should say ive always been able to hear my pc just it was very faint because it was a good few feet farther from my head and my headset would block the sound out. The fans I need to replace will be linked below I would prefer the fans to be black or black frame with white fan blades and I would consider led fans if the led is red or white. Budget is $100 or less.

Well I have 3 noctua NF P12s that I'm looking to sell if your interested. They don't necessarily match your color scheme, but they are the Ferrari of case fans, and if your looking for a quieter fan, your not gonna get anything better.

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!

IIRC NZXT had some AF fans that were 21 dBa, but anything will be quiet if you run it slow enough. I like SP/AF 120's because they're pretty and I put way too many fans then run them way too slow.

My space was one space off. F***F***F***. Followup edit, didn't capitalize AF. This is annoying AF.

Tip to those that are new on LTT forum- quote a post so that the person you are quoting gets a notification, otherwise they'll have no idea that you did. You can also use a tag such as @Ryoutarou97 (replace my username with anyone's. You should get a dropdown after you type the "@")to send a notification, but quoting is preferable.

Feel free to PM me about absolutely anything be it tech, math, literature, etc. I'll try my best to help. I'm currently looking for a cheap used build for around $25 to set up as a home server if anyone is selling.

If you are a native speaker please use proper English if you can. Punctuation, capitalization, and spelling are as important to making your message readable as proper night theme formatting is.

My build is fully operational, but won't be posted until after I get a GPU in it and the case arted up.

AF140 QE's are pretty quiet already. How fast are you running them?

It's at full speed.

Yea definitively invest in a fan controller or leverage your motherboard's fan controlling. Even a fan header cable limiting it to 7V would work. Keep the AF140 QEs at about 900RPM or so for best cooling/noise ratio. Not the greatest for idle but decent for load.

If you still want to change the fans, I like the PH-F140SP, Black frame white blades, comes in no LED, white LED and red LED flavors. These do very well at 700RPM or less for idle, and around 900RPM on load. For simplicity's sake, you can say 5V idle and 7V load.
